Boys. ♥ Wonder if Tom has continued his Michael courtship this week with texts and phone calls? According to his twitter, Michael has been busy throwing parties for his visiting grandparents!

Camille Mitchell who played Sheriff Adams was interviewed for an article recently & includes a sweet mention of Tom:
One memory stands out for Mitchell. On a break in shooting on a hot summer day at the Kent farm in Aldergrove, she looked over to see her 12-year-old son Charlie tossing a football with the lead actor who plays the young Superman, Tom Welling.

(Lucky Charlie! That's something to tell the kids at school about!)

Some interesting reminiscences about young Michael from a YT commenter:
Mike Rosenbaum was a quiet dude. He went by "Mike." But he was funny at times, however he was very detached from others, kind of the shy type, and a loner. However I always knew something was different about him, and he stood out from the norm, I don't remember him being popular in school. But he sure is now. He speaks alot publically in interviews about our hometown, Newburgh Indiana, and our High School Castle High though, I still have this strange drawing to go back there as well.

Also. I don't think Micheal ever even had a girl friend all throughout school, and never even went to any dances, or the prom. He's a different person now though.

Aw, baby. *wishes I could turn back time & go to Michael's prom with him*

This vid features a Indiana friend of Michael's calling him up so he can talk to another guy...what's sweet is that Michael is the fanboy rather than the celeb in this scenario! The other guy is a local Indy DJ and he & Michael have a cute conversation about the DJ's radio show, which Michael remembers fondly.

He's so excited! It's completely precious that he remembers the show so vividly and asks to hear the "Wanda" voice!

His Indiana hometown pride is very endearing.

Isn't it? Especially since he's a transplanted Hoosier, moving there at age 9.

Well TW is reportedly more comfortable around kids than adults and he might have carried that over to the two Cheaper By the Dozen movies. The kid got the good fortune of playing with him.

Poor Mikey had no dates while in school. Well its their loss...

Aww, fanboy Michael is adorable!

Interesting that he was Mike at school when he was shy and a loner and now that he's grown up to be confident and popular (and happier?) he doesn't much like being called Mike. Maybe Mike is the old him and Michael is the new him

I assumed that his friend was calling because the DJ was a fan of Michael - it's even cuter the other way round! And of course, he would have been devoted to his fave radio station as a kid.

*cuddles shy, young Michael* I think you've hit the nail on the head. "Michael" and maybe "Rosey" are his ways of renaming/re-inventing himself, now that he's definitely one of the "cool kids."

Lacroix has posted again!

That video is so cute! I love how Michael is so genuine; you never get the sense that he is impressed by his own fame and success. I adore Fanboy!Michael!

My heart aches for Michael in high school, but I guess all those experiences shaped him into the amazing man he is today. I'm so glad he found the right opportunities to share his talent with us, and to let us discover how truly awesome he is. I'm looking forward to the podcast of his gig tomorrow night!

I followed the link you put in the comment above and read Lacroix's latest comments. What a wonderful champion of Michael he is! Thanks for the link!

It's nice that he always pops up to defend Michael and give little behind the scenes tidbits.

I think it's one of the reasons he's so nice to fans - he's been shy himself, and dorky! So he understands :)

Yes, me too! Wonder if it will be posted live?

I made the mistake of reading the other comments in that IMDb thread, too. I will never understand the entitlement some people feel, as if Smallville owns Michael, now and forever. He gave the show everything they contracted for and more, and we have seven years of amazing performances to enjoy for all time as a result! And the poster who kept insinuating that Michael was faking his back problems?! Unbelievable! Grrr.

Judging by what has come before, the only way to hear the Farley Bros. Radio podcast live is to attend the show at Second City in person. The recorded podcast always goes up three days later, on Tuesday morning. Maybe some fans in attendance will post about it before that, so we can at least hear about Michael's performance while we wait to listen to it for ourselves. And maybe there will be pics!

Tommy was spotted by someone who lives in Hollywood yesterday, and there's a Lakers/Celtics game in L.A. tomorrow. C'mon, Tom, give Michael a call! ;)
