"Woo" girls & Michael steals candy [Jun. 2nd, 2013|07:35 pm]

There is a woman who lives, or visits, the house next door, who says "Woo!" a lot. Not a soft "woo!" or a regular speaking voice "woo" but a piercing, resonant "WOOOOOO!" that easily penetrates into other people's walls. There were a number of "WOOOO"s last night and then, to my relief, a rain storm put a stop to it.

This happened last week and prompted a small "WOO!" from me. Michael doesn't respond to fans on twitter, which I think is probably very sensible, but this still put a big smile on my face. LINK

I rewatched The Avengers this weekend. My favourite scene is still Bruce chatting with Harry Dean Stanton's security guard.

Precious comics Clex via TrekIntoDarkness. Aw, he lifts Lex right up...Lex's feet dangling!

I can understand why Michael favoriting your tweet would make you smile. It shows that he read your tweet and that he liked it, ergo he likes you.

It's a tie-in to this game - in this universe, Lex is good but apparently dies :(

LOL It amuses me how much Clex is in the comics and cartoons. Poor Wonder Woman looks so dejected and ignored. hee!

That pic of Michael is so adorable. Apparently he was too busy trying to steal candy that he missed Carrie Fisher. lol

That's Smallville's big legacy - Clex with stars in their eyes!

I bet he's a menace with a pinata!

So cool that he responded to your Tweet! And the pic so cute, and the comic, priceless!

(And that woman is weird. Who DOES that during sex?)

Michael's a sweetheart :)

And that woman is weird. Who DOES that during sex?
She wasn't even doing it during sex, she was punctuating her conversation with "WOO!" at a barbecue!

Oh! By the way you described it, I assumed that. Still, that's weird! (and obnoxious)!

I like that Michael does stealth responses to people on Twitter rather than appeasing the "Please follow me!!!!" and "Why don't you reply to fans???" people or fuelling the competitive "I got a reply from X!!!" people. A favourite here, a brief follow and a DM there...much more sensible and special!

"Stealth" is a good way of putting it and yes, much more sensible than trying to keep up with the constant demand for attention!
