I did love seeing Michael trend for hours last night. And I know he'll do his utmost to give us an amazing Lex. Hope Tom gives him a big "welcome back" hug.
How'd they get him back? Your conspiracy theories?
Negotiations were already underway but the EW article raised the stakes
Michael didn't want to spend the next 20 years explaining himself to weeping fans
Tom: "When I said I'd do anything to get you back, I meant ANYTHING..."
How should Lex's "surprise" re-appearance be staged?
Jumps out of wedding cake: "Hello, Clark!:
Knocks out Oliver, mid-whine. "Hello, Clark!"
Sues Clark for custody of their love-child, Lucas Grabeel.
Wears Lois-wig and straddles Clark in bed. Clark recognizes him instantly but decides to just go with it.
You know who can say "no" to me? NO ONE. That's right, that's right.
- before they'd confirmed Michael, the show announced the return of Callum Blue as Zod. So now for villains we've got: Lex, Zod, Darkseid, Desaad, Granny Goodness and Alt!Lionel. What's Zod going to be doing? Holding everyone's coats?
- I've seen a few worried posts about Clark being lost in the shuffle. Given the way he's mostly been written this season, I think this is valid. Clark might as well have been a purse for all the plot-driving he did in Collateral and was Johnny-come-lately in every scene in Icarus.
- Greg Beeman would raise up my finale-hopes: he loves Clex and is more flexible with the actors than other directors. I hope Souders/Peterson don't write the script.
- I would rather see one amazing Clex scene than Lex sprinkled randomly through the show. If they structure the finale like a first season episode - ie, Clark's POV all the way through, I'd be pleased.
And I want lots of behind-the-scenes photos of Michael & Tom. LOTS!
