Tom always gives great, thoughtful interviews, which is why it's annoying he doesn't do DVD commentaries any more. *pokes him* Would love to hear him give a play-by-play on SV again. In my dreams, the boxset would have included the pilot episode with cast commentary, all of them looking back 10 years...

Apart from loving the Michael-quote, I also liked what he said about Annette & John helping him navigate the sudden media attention. Tom was very smart in using his SV experience as a way of acquiring new skills: from blocking scenes to directing to running a production company.

I hope this interview is a sign he's getting ready to announce a new project!
