Wishing a good Remembrance Day and Veteran's Day to all my friends.

Tom emerges from his hermitage and throws Michael (and others!) some love! Thanks to airygold for the link:

Five Smallville CoStars who Taught Me Most

Now, announce a new role, Mister!

"I love how Tom never offers up trite little sound bites in interviews, but instead shares sincere, thoughtful insights that are often unexpected. I'm always fascinated by what he has to say.

Tom's respect and admiration for Michael (and everyone he mentions) really shines through. I hope the two of them get the chance to work together again someday."

Exactly! The Big Guy didn't do much of the SV audio commentaries ( and I hope he did at least one for the last season box set), I think, for exactly that reason. The one audio he did with MR he obviously let Michael do most of the talking.

Of the video interviews with him online that I've seen, I'd say that Mr. Welling really doesn't like to do the on-the-spot interviews thing. He seems uncomfortable in a number of the early vids. His Fallon appearance showed he improved on that one a bit.

And yeah, he was learning the acting craft along the way and was fortunate to have Glover, Reeve and others to help teach him.
