Thanks very much for the pretty valentine hearts!

I started a Tumblr. Not sure whether I'll keep it up. I like looking at all the pretty pics but it lacks the aspect of LJ I like most, leaving & receiving comments. If you'd like to me follow you, please post your tumblr name in the comments. I haven't figured out how to tell who's following me yet! (Very slow adapting to new mediums.)

Michael's costar in Old Days will be the lovely Morena Baccarin! Cool he chose another genre vet for his love interest. I think they'll be very pretty together.

Love this tweet to Michael:

(Hope it was him!)

We have a long weekend so I'm hoping to ski! *fingers crossed for snow*

Tumblr can be a lot of fun (and time consuming), but it's no replacement for LJ. You're right that it doesn't have the personal connections and in depth conversation that LJ allows. It's more comparable to Twitter than to LJ and I like it better than Twitter

What it has over LJ is that 1.) It's easier to post pictures. It's one step instead of three. 2.) It's easier to find pictures with the tagging. 3.) The drafts and queue features are very nice. I have over 300 posts in my drafts and every Sunday I move 20 of them over to my queue. That way, with my limited internet access, I can still keep my blog running.

That's interesting...I took to twitter right away but have never liked facebook. Tumblr might fall somewhere between the two poles for me.

The queue feature sounds very handy, especially as this is your busy time of year! And the tagging system is great, much better than LJ's.
