|Long cold winter BLAHS
||[Feb. 2nd, 2014|08:04 pm]
I've been finding this a hard winter, both in terms of weather and spirits. Work is less busy than it was 2 weeks ago, which is a blessing, but I've got a sinus infection that won't leave me and leads to sleepiness by day and for some reason, extremely vivid nightmares by night. I know neither the weather or the infection will last forever, just gotta put the head down and plough through both.|
Further disheartened by the loss of another fantastic talent today. Philip Seymour Hoffman has owned my heart ever since: "How's the peeping, Tommy? Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, Tommy!"
At least the snow is making an interesting landscape. Here's a bicycle. Or perhaps a b-icicle?
A sky full of snow about to fall...
Weird ice shapes.
Michael with a friend's daughter...I want some of that sun!
Winter sure has been sucky. Thankfully, I've been able to avoid being sick so far. *knocks on wood* Hope you're feeling better soon. *hugs*
Snow does create some very pretty pictures, I just don't like it on the roads. :P There are a few roads I drive that the snow ends up drifting at the edges and gives it a cliff-like look. Very cool look.
Aww! Michael is so adorable with kids. :D
Thank you! Just trying to wait those sinuses out...

That does sound cool but also a bit scary!
Michael is a big mushball with kids :)
It's been an unappealing winter - epic cold and snow for you, neverending rain and gales over here...definitely ready for spring now!
Hope you feel better soon, and the nightmares aren't too nasty!
Rain & gales are awful too. Mammals need sun! We had a tiny portion of sun on Monday, which helped. Another 20cm of snow tonight - can't quite imagine where it's all going to go.
