I've spent most of the last week visiting my Dad in hospital and for much of the time it was unseasonably warm...so it really doesn't feel like Christmas actually happened. Hospital staff were very kind & my Dad is making some progress but all the travelling back & forth, coupled with work deadlines & weird weather has me all turned round chronologically! It feels like we're stuck in permanent November.
Hope everyone who celebrates enjoyed their holidays.
Enjoyed the grim-dark BBC version of Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None." A film critic on twitter described it as an "English giallo"- very well acted & filmed.
James Gunn posted this photo of Michael front & centre at a party. Love the sprawl.
I'm sorry your dad couldn't be home in time for Christmas, but I hope he is recuperating well and will be well enough to leave the hospital soon. I'm glad the staff did what they could to make your holiday a happy one. My Christmas was a bit odd this year as well. We celebrated Christmas at Thanksgiving (we combined the two holidays into Thankschristmas) due to lots of my family having other commitments in December, so we didn't quite know what to do with ourselves on Dec 25!
The way Michael embraces life and finds the joy in everything is a true inspiration. Love so much that he shares that not only with his friends and family, but with us all!
I hope he is recuperating well and will be well enough to leave the hospital soon. Thanks - we're hoping that physiotherapy progresses well this week and maybe we'll be told a date for his release.
we didn't quite know what to do with ourselves on Dec 25! I hope you relaxed because you really needed some down time after a strenuous year!
The way Michael embraces life and finds the joy in everything is a true inspiration. I was so amused that he was sleeping in a closet for New Year's - he brings me so much joy! Did a little looking around for Tom pics after Laura's tweet but nothing yet - would love to see a NYE photo of him!
