This is the end of my first year of fandom and fanfic! I've been book-marking everyone's "fic round-up" posts and decided to make one of my own....stories and longwinded-ness behind the cut…..

My first Clex story was Unauthorized Biography... http://www.smallville.slashdom.net/archive/44/unauthorizedbiography.html
I was delighted and surprised to get some comments on it. I was so "green" at that point, I didn't know people ever commented on fic. I had been too shy to send people comments prior to that; now I try and leave feedback for all the stories I enjoy.

The next story was The Hinge Moment(Clex NC-17)
... through which I met Talitha78 and Norwich, who are always so kind and welcoming to newbies. I didn't know what a livejournal was when I entered fandom but they've helped me figure it out. (And Enderwiggin taught me what a livejournal cut was – thanks for that!)I'm still trying to figure out various lj features (like how to hot-link in lj? pic-spam?) but I'm definitely doing better than I was before!

Redefining Normal(Clex,NC17)http://www.smallville.slashdom.net/archive/46/redefiningnormal.html
...can be read as a very loose sequel to "The Hinge Moment." Being Canadian, I was naturally eager to stage a Clex sex scene in a tent! I generally find it easier to write from Clark's POV but wanted to show Lex's perspective here.

The Throwback (Clex, NC-17)
I'm not sure how well the villain of this piece holds up (too much deux ex machina?) but I did have fun writing him.

Risk Management (Clex, NC-17)
Another healing-the-rift story. I do love reading these – and writing them.

The Levitas Solution (Clex, NC-17) Written for the Absolut Lex challenge, for the prompt "Woobie Lex."

Parallel Dreams and More than One way of Saving the World feature Clex + Justice League and were very much influenced by the crossover stories of RivkaT, Mahaliem and astolat.

Candy Cane Hearts: Christmas Clex fluff for the Under Mistletoe challenge. (Thanks to droolfangirl for catching my mistake about Clark's cape!)

Happy New Year everyone! Thanks to all the authors, artists, meta-writers and vidders for giving me so much entertainment this year. If I've had a rotten day, there's nothing like a dose of SV fandom to pick me up again. Hope to see lots more stories, art, vids and commentary in 2007!

Heh, I'd forgotten that like half of these fics were written by you. (I always forget that you're Vivian Darkbloom.) Great writing!

Hope to see more from you in the New Year!

Thanks so much (and 2006 was a very good fic year for you, btw!) And yeah, I was brand new this year. I found livejournal through TWoP but only got one myself when I started to feel bad about leaving anonymous comments. The first time someone asked to friend me, they had to explain a) what that meant and b) how to friend them back!

I'm so glad you made this post, because I found a story I'd missed -- 'Redefining Normal.' What a great way to start off the new year!

Aw.I can't believe I missed reading Unauthorized Biography before. The story is so cute and schmoopy that I just want to hug and cuddle it.

Aw, thanks! And speaking of schmoopy, you chose the perfect screencap for your icon. It makes me happy every time I see it. TW, demurely peering through his eyelashes, with that tiny smile; MR, being outrageously flirty; an ass, about to be grabbed......*draws hearts around them*

Thanks! I've bookmarked your page too so I can pull out a warm, happy Clex-fic when needed! I think the first fic of your I read was "Kneel before me....please" and I've gone back to it a bunch of times because I enjoy the dialogue so much.

I'm posting this here because I don't wanna flood your inbox with multiple emails of me mindlessly squeeing over every one of these stories. There's not a single one of these that I didn't like, and I now have several new SV entries on my del.ici.ous account. I have no idea how I made my way to your LJ, but I'm very glad I did! You've even inspired me to catch up with the show again, after I'd all but given up on it. Thank you so much. =D

Hi - thanks very much for your kind comment! When you originally posted it, I didn't get an email alert, which is why I'm so late responding - but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your lovely feedback!

i just had the strongest urge to reread the story about the redK hearts but couldn't remember where to find it, so i came right to your archive and lucked out -- first hit is your directory of stories! i'll bookmark it for reading after work, a treat for myself today. :)

happy valentine's day to you!

Aw, thanks! It's always nice to know that someone has liked your story well enough to go back and re-read it (as I've often done with your "Hustling", which really tugs on my heart strings.)

Happy Valentines!

i did reread it last night, with the kind of total pleasure that makes a long day seem lighter. i realized that your tone in that story hits me just exactly right. it's not only beautifully written; it's also the characters as i like them best. thank YOU. :)

and thanks for telling me you've reread "Hustling"! that amazes me and makes me feel very, very good. i enjoyed writing it, but that doesn't necessarily mean anyone will respond, you know? <3
