thanks for the info! who couldn't love our boys? :D I love the pic of Michael, his gray eyes are so beautiful!
I love the pic of Michael, his gray eyes are so beautiful! His eyes seem to change colour depending on what he's wearing because sometimes they look very green!
Gray? Green? I always thought Michael's eyes were blue....
"He's completely innapropriate all the time, and that makes him very appropriate."
What a great thing to say!! And awesome pic. Yummm.
Justin has clearly thought about Michael a lot!
the first day that I met him that I was like this (awed face) because I go ‘dude do you wake up every morning and does someone sketch you on a pad because you’re like a drawing?’
OMG! That may be the best comment I ever heard about Michael. lol
That may be the best comment I ever heard about Michael. I know! Such an odd remark, yet somehow fitting!
I always love hearing our boys get some love from their co-stars. And this quote from Justin "He is completely inappropriate all the time and that makes him completely appropriate " made me grin a happy grin *G8
And this quote from Justin "He is completely inappropriate all the time and that makes him completely appropriate " made me grin a happy grin *G8 That's quite a clever line from Justin!
I wish i could have been behind the scenes on the Smallville set seeing Michael being his dorky self, and then going to "Serious Lex" mode. I always remember that blooper where you see him being a goof ball and then you see him go "Serious Lex, Serious Lex" and you see him shake his goofiness out of him almost. *Loves*
Happy Birthday! What a beautiful pic of Michael! I ADORE these two guys! Thanks so much for the quotes, and the link. I about died laughing reading Justin's answer about how he doesn't tell his daughter that Smallville is a TV show. hee! I found a couple of vids on YouTube. This person has only posted Parts 1 and 3, neither of which includes the quotes above, but maybe they'll post Part 2 later. The video is shaky and out of focus, but the audio's there, and there are a few additional questions. Here are the links: Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq-6kHAbMxcPart 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mkcd2T_EbCYI'm hoping more vids will show up tomorrow. It's just wonderful to hear the answers from the actors themselves. Some favorite parts: 4:21 in Part 1: Justin tells the story about his daughter. Adorably. 8:18 in Part 1: A young JH fan asks a question. Wait for his response to Justin's answer. 3:59 in Part 3: Justin talks about who he relates to more, Ollie or GA, and seems to reveal some ambivalence about where they've taken his character this season in the part they left out of the linked article.
Thanks for the links! I love the story about Justin's daughter "My daddy's a hero!" Awwww :) And double-AWWWW for the young fan at the end of part 1. "Mr. Justin...?" JH must have been getting a bit verklempt by the end of that! Justin talks about who he relates to more, Ollie or GA, and seems to reveal some ambivalence about where they've taken his character this season in the part they left out of the linked article. His reaction is interesting - I do wonder what he thinks about Oliver's actions in the latter half of S8. As an actor, maybe the moral decline aspect is fun to play, but Justin seems to really enjoy playing a hero. I hope we get part #2 as well!
JH must have been getting a bit verklempt by the end of that!
When the boy said, "You're the best," I just melted. It was so sweet!
Justin's delivery of, "I could shoot you right now, kid," was hilarious. He is such a funny man. I would so love to see Oliver and Clark just have fun once in awhile! It was also interesting that Justin expressed a desire to do comedy. Can you imagine if he and Michael worked on a sitcom together? They would never get any filming done, because everyone would be laughing too much. :)

I always thought that both Ollie and Jimmy should have been "light relief" characters, especially during the bleak S6. Why the writers decided to angst them up is mystifying, as both JH and AA are ace at comedy.

Yay!!! Thank you. Lovely clear video and aren't both guys looking dreamy-hot? Swoon.
I love seeing their faces when they answer the questions! I hope someone, somewhere posts the whole session. I so want to hear those quotes about Michael and Tom for myself. *fingers crossed*
Aww! I'm glad that Justin misses Michael too - sometimes it seems from the reports we get that everyone on the set is having great fun and barely even remember him. And I do agree that Michael's inappropriateness is part of what makes him so lovable.
And I do agree that Michael's inappropriateness is part of what makes him so lovable. I like that he fits his "appropriateness" to his venue, ie at his college presentation, he is dignified and preppy; at a Con, he's a total fanboy, and on set with co-stars, he unleashes the full Rosey-force!
I'm glad that Justin misses Michael too - sometimes it seems from the reports we get that everyone on the set is having great fun and barely even remember him. It's interesting. He got name-dropped a lot at the beginning of the season when the producers still wanted to lure him back. But once it was clear he wasn't returning, I wonder if cast members were told not to talk about him as much? Most of the interviews in the second half of the season were given by Cassidy Freeman and Sam Witwer, neither of whom knows Michael anyway.
(I choose to believe Tom pines for him constantly and has Michael-pics all over his trailer.)
I can't remember who the interview was with, but one of them talked about how great CF was and how much fun she and Tom had on set and I couldn't help thinking "Nooo, that's Michael's role!" I'm sure she's great and everything but it kind of sounded like he had been completely replaced, which made me sad.

This part is definitely true!

Justin gave a similar quote about how he and Tom laugh all the time on set and my immediate reaction was the same as yours: "Oi! Usurper!"
Happy birthday, birthday girl!
It's so nice to get stories like that. D'awww!
Yes, behind-the-scenes tidbits are great!
i must admit that reading about Michael always amuses me because he is so frigging different then Lex. his sense of humor is already legendary. lol
i must admit that reading about Michael always amuses me because he is so frigging different then Lex. And he's able to go from playing around to Serious!Lex mode so quickly!
how is it possible?
this man is a freaking genius!
Cute (and appropriately admiring) quotes!
I love when the boys get compliments! |
